Working with fx
Start fx in a project and send a prompt.
Send a prompt
Fix the search box losing its value when I go back, and add a regression test.
Type @ to attach a file, or /image <path> to attach an image.
Steering
Send a follow-up prompt while fx works. fx treats it as steering:
- While fx is responding, it stops the response and continues with your follow-up.
- While a tool or context compaction is running, fx applies the follow-up when it finishes.
Press escape twice to interrupt. File changes and commands that already ran remain in place.
Review the result
Press ctrl+o to open Full detail, which includes the conversation and complete command output. Press ctrl+o or escape to close it.
/undo reverts the latest file operation made with fx's file tools. It does not undo shell commands or changes to external services.
